Phase 1 - Preparation for the Installation
1. Turn off the Main Power to the Unit
2. Remove the Service Panel Door from the Air Handler / Furnace
3. Take a Picture of the Motor Wiring for Later Reference
4. Remove the Wiring Harness from the Motor
5. Remove Squirrel Cage from the Air Handler / Furnace
6. Remove Set Screw from Squirrel Cage
7. Remove Bolts Holding Motor Support Legs to Squirrel Cage
8. Uninstall the Motor from Squirrel Cage & Bracket and Legs from the Motor
9. Take a picture of the old motor with its numbers and save it. You need it for troubleshooting, and warranty registration.
Phase 2 - Installation
1. Verify Power is Off to Unit
2. Install Bracket on Motor
3. Install Motor to Squirrel Cage
4. Install Set Screw to Squirrel Cage
5. Install Squirrel Cage in Air Handler / Furnace
6. Replace Wiring Harness Use Active Speed Tabs
7. Install Service Panel Door
Finish: Turn on Main Power to Unit & Set Desired Temperature of a Thermostat.
